Jayne Pierson: London Fashion Week designer

Designer Jayne Pierson attends the 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty Gala Party at the Natural History Museum.

At the On|Off exhibition it was all about ground breaking designs and up and coming talent, which meant  Jayne Pierson was in her element.

She was excited to have made it onto the LFW schedule.

“It’s amazing. It probably won’t sink in until I go home,” she said.

“I feel like I’m on the road to where I want to go really. It’s just the beginning but at the same time I feel I’m getting where I want to be.

“And I want to build on that now, every season.”

When I spoke to her on Saturday, Jayne had already had interest from a number of important buyers, including Ruth Chapman from upscale boutique Matches.

The child that Jude Law conceived with US model Samantha Burke last year has been born in New York.

His ex-lover gave birth to a baby girl weighing 5lb 12oz, Burke’s publicist Eileen Koch told People magazine.
